These systems are not two versions of the same filter. WS1 forms an air pocket in its tank to oxidize targeted substances before filtration. Matrixx inFusion introduces an oxidant and then filters the treated water.
The right method depends on concentration, pH, competing water chemistry, well yield and household demand. A smell description is not enough to select between them.
Water testing comes before brand preference
